first unveiled in a military-esque “Cargo Khaki” colourway earlier this month, the Air Max 95 “Speed Lace” is back again and this time around it’s been revealed in a “Green Volt” rendition. The pair showcases utilitarian vibes that are instantly reminiscent of Nike’s signature ACG line, although surprisingly these AM95s are nothing to do with the All conditions gear label.
Crafted from premium materials throughout, the stand-out feature of these sneakers is an easy and fast to use speed-lacing system that allows the wearer to tighten or fasten the pair in a matter of seconds. There’s no better Nike sneaker suited to this sort of technology, as the AM95 was originally developed as a trail running sneaker for the outdoors, although by the time it launched it had transcended into a lifestyle silhouette.

Decked out in shades of deep green and grey, the design of the Air Max 95 was inspired by the human anatomy and still looks cutting-edge over 25 years later. Swoosh logos are embroidered onto the lateral sides in volt green along with the aforementioned speed lacing system that adds a technical look to the design. This is all placed on top of a grey rubber midsole that contains visible Nike Air Max units to provide all the support needed for a long day’s wear.
If you’re as keen as we are on the upcoming Nike Air Max 95 “Speed Lace” in “Green Volt”, then you can expect it to launch via Nike’s online store and via select retailers in the coming weeks, although we don’t have a confirmed release date just yet.
